The directors are meets time to time to the MBPT authority regarding problems of goods vehicles in the port area which, they have faced lots of problems to their vehicles at Port area. We had written a letter to the Chairman to the Mumbai Port Trust wide letter No. DIR/74/2014 dated 23.09.2014 regarding inconvenience and discontinue to park vehicles on the Gamaria Road, Mathar Pakhadi Road, Pherbesin, Malet Bunder Road etc. As a result, enter to the dock in need of long queues. System order to rapidly transport in the city of Mumbai has been the formation of the Eastern Freeway bridge, and so private traffic increase, the heavy goods vehicles traffic on the road is prohibited from traffic police. The vehicles were not any alternative system for traffic. We were requested to the MBPT Authority, to start Mesant Road traffic, to avoid troubles And instructed to MBPT authority to consider our demands, otherwise we have to boycott on dock transport.Escort Fees Abolished in Maharashtra :
Board of Directors of MTOA along with other Associations were participated in the abolition of escort fees movement and taken up this issue strongly with the Maharashtra Government for demanding a complete abolition of ESCORT CHARGES. We are glad to inform you that the Escort Fees in Maharashtra have been abolished from the 15th August 2014 and order has been issued to the Corporation to stop collection of Escort fees in the state.Harassment of all over in Maharashtra :
